Who we are
Ripe Domains is operated by Ripe Domains LLC ('we', 'us'). This policy explains how we handle personal information through RipeDomains.com and related inquiries and transactions. Contact us at Hello@RipeDomains.com or through the contact form on this site.

Information we collect
We collect information you provide, such as your name, email address, company, optional phone number, domain interests, messages, offers, and transaction correspondence. For a purchase, we may also receive billing contact details, payment status, transaction identifiers, and the registrar information necessary to coordinate delivery. Payment and escrow providers may collect financial and identity information under their own policies. Do not send card details, passwords, identity documents, or domain authorization codes through our general contact form.

Our hosting and security services may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, request times, pages requested, and security events. A first-party cookie restores your chat conversation in the same browser for up to 30 days. When you submit an inquiry, we may receive the optional buyer details you provide and recent domain views from the current browser tab. Chat messages and contact details are retained so we can respond and follow up. We request consent for nonessential technologies where required.

How we use information
We use personal information to answer inquiries, evaluate offers and submissions, prepare and perform agreements, coordinate payments and transfers, maintain records, operate and protect the site, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations. We send promotional messages only where permitted by law and honor applicable opt-out requests.

If the business or relevant assets are involved in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale, personal information may be disclosed under appropriate safeguards and transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law and required notices. This does not automatically authorize unrelated marketing by another brand.

We do not publish inquiry details as public listing content. We do not publish buyer names, testimonials, or confidential transaction details without permission or another valid legal basis.

Retention and security
We keep information for as long as reasonably necessary for its stated purpose, transaction records, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and fraud prevention, and then delete or de-identify it according to our retention practices. Different records may have different retention periods. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards appropriate to the information, but no service can guarantee absolute security.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, a copy of your information, restrictions or objections to certain uses, withdrawal of consent, or an appeal of a denied request. Information may be processed in the countries where we and our service providers operate. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we use the required transfer mechanism.

Children and external services
This site is intended for adults entering business transactions and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information. External sites, payment providers, escrow services, and registrars have their own policies.

Changes
We may update this policy and will display its effective date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent for material changes. A revised policy does not eliminate rights that apply to information already collected.

Traffic and source measurement

We measure listing and collection views, Buy Now and offer clicks, Escrow checkout clicks, and saved inquiries. A random identifier in browser session storage links activity within a browser-tab session, which refreshes after 30 minutes of inactivity. We record the domain viewed, event time, first landing domain, referring hostname when available, and source tags such as a forwarded domain. We do not store full referring URLs or raw IP addresses in these traffic records, and we do not use advertising trackers for this feature. We use short-lived hashed request information to limit abuse. Traffic identifiers and event records are retained for up to 90 days and cleaned during subsequent activity. If you contact us, source attribution may be associated with your saved inquiry under our inquiry retention practices. Browser settings, blockers and disabled JavaScript may limit measurement.
